The Lord of the Rings: Conquest is an action game developed by Pandemic Studios and published by Electronic Arts. It is based on The Lord of the Rings film trilogy, and borrows many gameplay mechanics from Pandemic’s Star Wars: Battlefront games. The game allows the player to play as both the forces of good and evil, but unlike The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth, the latter option is based around Sauron stopping the One Ring from being destroyed and using it to regain his lost power.  On December 23, 2008, the PlayStation 3 demo was made available on the PlayStation Network  while the Xbox 360 demo was released January 2, 2009. read more »

Brütal Legend (stylised with a metal umlaut) is an action-adventure/real-time strategy game created by Double Fine Productions and published by Electronic Arts for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game was released during October 2009 in North America and Europe. Though Brütal Legend was originally to be published by Vivendi Games prior to its merger with Activision, Activision had dropped the game from its portfolio after the merger. It was later picked up by Electronic Arts, though Activision and Double Fine brought counter-law suits against each other over publishing issues. BioShock 2 is a first-person shooter video game developed by 2K Marin and Irrational Games for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 video game consoles, and the Windows operating system. It is the sequel to the critically acclaimed 2007 video game BioShock. The game was released worldwide on February 9, 2010. The game is set in fictional dystopian city Rapture, in a biopunk, steampunk alternate history 1968, eight years after the events of BioShock. The protagonist and player-controlled character is a Big Daddy, a being that has had its organs and skin grafted into an atmospheric diving suit. Among the first of its kind, the player-controlled Big Daddy reactivates with no recollection of the past decade’s events, and scours the city in an attempt to relocate the Little Sister that he was paired with. When it becomes obvious that Rapture’s leader Sofia Lamb will become responsible for the city’s destruction, the Big Daddy attempts to overthrow Lamb and her army of Big Sisters. read more »
